I BOOKED A BOUDOIR SHOOT, NOW WHAT?
I have recently started creating a boudoir marathon for the month of January as beautiful reminders that we as women, no matter the age, body type, or physical experiences are beautiful in our own way. It's very normal to be nervous and unsure when booking - but you did it! You booked, now what happens? What do I wear? How do I pose myself? Should eat beforehand? All of these questions are normal for EVERYONE. I hope to answer some of these questions thoroughly in this blog post.
I Have No Idea What To Wear!

It is so easy to feel the need to go out and buy a brand new lingerie outfit for your boudoir shoot, but I'm here to say STOP (unless of course you really, really want to treat yourself)! Literally anything can be sexy: a long t-shirt with stockings, an off the shoulder sweater, a blouse and some cute heels. Feel free to go out and buy that outfit, but do not feel pressured to just because you aren't sure. However, wear something comfortable prior to your shoot; something easy to take off too (zippered jacket, button up blouse).
Shoes and jewelry are also a great and simple accessory to your shoot - heels or flats are great. Pearls are always a classic, however, do not feel like you need to only wear those. Wear those gold studs or that simple silver chain necklace, this is YOUR photoshoot. It needs to reflect YOU. If you're a bride or are hoping to incorporate this into your boudoir shoot, bring your veil! Veils are a GREAT way to create a romantic and sultry look along with a white robe, or a white lingerie outfit - remember this is YOUR shoot. Wear something you are comfortable with.

I'm So Bad At Posing - Help!

Posing is my job - I'll demonstrate, show you images and help you get those gorgeous images. However, just because some girl on pinterest is turning this way or that does not mean you will look EXACTLY like her. You are you and that's the best thing about this! You will not look like anyone else; you are beautiful!
Eating, Drinking?
Stay away from anything that may make you feel bloated; you want to feel comfortable. I have attached an article that gives a great look into what is suggested and not suggest the day before and morning of your boudoir shoot.
